Market season is in full swing, and this week’s search for the latest and greatest launches sent design devotees to Las Vegas for the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. From scalloped concrete sinks to flower-shaped faucet handles, here are more than a dozen standouts from KBIS.
Bertazzoni’s newly launched Carbonio suite is equal parts sexy and sleek. Inspired by the elevated, high-performing paint finishes used for sports cars, the collection spans six cutting-edge kitchen appliances—including the Professional Series 48-inch induction range—in a handsome graphite-colored matte finish.
Artistic Tile premiered its collab with New York designer Michelle Gerson. The collection, called Game On, boasts four customizable natural stone designs, each available in mosaic form or as large-format tile: the geometric Spot On, the serpentine Slide, the zigzagging Zip and the delightfully dashed Stix.
Monogram’s booth at the show was overflowing with tech-savvy, of-the-moment designs. In addition to a new line of professional-grade induction ranges and a wall-mounted hood with a built-in indoor-air-quality sensor, the brand showcased a selection of Studio M Lighting’s collaboration with César Giraldo, including the hand-blown Gusto ceiling mount.
The third installment of Belwith Keeler’s Bijou series is brimming with bold geometric designs. The launch spans five collections of cabinet knobs and pulls, including the cut-gemstone-like Polly, the double-ringed Mingle, the sunburst-style Luminescence and the Greek key–inspired Meandros.
Kohler introduced three archival nature-inspired hues into its wildly popular Heritage Colors collection. The first, Fresh Green, is an avocado shade that dates back to 1971, while Aspen Green offers a silvery sage hue and Teal, a deep blue-green—all of which can be applied to an assortment of contemporary tubs, sinks and toilets.
Kast’s colorful Wave collection is a Memphis Milano lover’s dream. The launch offers three exuberant, undulating concrete basins punctuated by eye-catching shapes—including the rippling Prim and the scalloped Tilde and Dune—and sprightly hues such as sunny yellow Sandcastle and rich terra cotta Ember.
Robern released the statement-making Statuesque lighted mirror. Available in four sophisticated shapes and five distinct finishes, the ultrachic design is framed by a dimmable, flicker-free light—with optional defogging and night-light upgrades—to supply full-length, state-of-the-art lighting in any area of the home.
Dornbracht debuted a duo of dazzling new finishes for two of its bestselling kitchen collections. The first offers the gently rounded Meta Square series in shiny silver Platinum, while the second introduces the beaming, 23-karat gold Durabrass into the fan-favorite Tara line.
Hestan tapped its design friends at BauTeam and Cosentino to outfit its Kitchen Suite showcase. The display integrated groundbreaking designs from all three brands, including a graphite-colored dual fuel range by Hestan; BauTeam’s soon-to-be released reeded wood cabinets; and Cosentino’s mineral-based Silestone Versailles surfaces in ivory.
True Residential wowed visitors with a new effervescent finish called Champagne. The soft gold hue features a subtle pearlescent sheen and shimmery metallic accents, and can be applied to any of the brand’s full-size or under-the-counter designs, including the outdoor-friendly Dual Zone wine cabinet and a 36-inch refrigerator with bottom freezer.
Kallista’s new One FP5 decorative handles will bring a touch of whimsy to your next bathroom scheme. The flower-shaped design draws inspiration from Hollywood Regency interiors, and it comes in five metal finishes and three playful powder-coated colorways, including pink, blue and cream.
Neolith unveiled an innovative line of silica-free surfaces. Launching in June, the carbon-neutral series introduces two sintered stone designs—Arctic White and Abu Dhabi White—crafted without added plastics or crystalline silicas (a carcinogenic mineral found in sand, concrete and soil) to ensure they’re every bit as easy on your lungs as they are on the eyes.
Dolce & Gabbana’s latest collection for Smeg, Blu Mediterraneo, is a love letter to the Mediterranean Sea. The debut introduces a selection of highly collectible, ocean-blue-and-white designs—each adorned in the former’s iconic maiolica motif—into the brand’s ongoing collaboration, including a full-size refrigerator, a mini fridge, a range cooker, a hood, and an espresso machine.
Emtek’s Habitat collection was on full display at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Available in half a dozen finishes, such as satin brass, polished chrome and oil-rubbed bronze, the line comprises four streamlined hardware designs—including knobs and pulls—with smooth contours meant to mimic the shape of pebbles.
Brizo’s Kintsu kitchen collection is teeming with minimalist appeal. The series references everything from Japanese wabi-sabi to modern Scandinavian design and showcases an array of elegant faucet configurations, including a wall-mounted pot filler, a soap dispenser and a touch-activated pull-down faucet.
