The Fall 2021 collection from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams launched online this week and will be available in stores on August 2. The release includes dozens of eye-catching furnishings, ranging from luxe marble cocktail tables and sculptural sofas to sleek nesting tables with sunburst-style veneers. CB2 is expanding its partnership with the estate of Paul McCobb by adding a new furniture collection inspired by the storied midcentury modern designer. Where the initial partnership stuck to outdoor, bedroom and lighting categories, the latest assortment moves into the rest of the home, featuring 36 clean-lined pieces composed of refined materials, including hide-upholstered slipper chairs and whitewashed oak console cabinets with cane doors. One particularly striking piece is a black bow-tie-shaped sofa that is upholstered in a shearlinglike wool blend and is reminiscent of McCobb’s original angular designs.
