We’re in the midst of the holiday homestretch, and festive new collections are launching left and right. From surrealistic hand-painted wallpapers to fabric cutoffs transformed into collectible pillows, here are some of the most swoonworthy debuts from the past week.
O&G Studio’s latest designs are a love letter to the sea. The first, Rill, features a hardwood console and side table punctuated by panels made of wavy slats, while Pedra provides a low-profile bench and ottoman with turned, corkscrew legs and a seat that can be upholstered in your choice of more than 20 tactile materials (or your client’s own upholstery).
Wovn Home launched a highly touchable collaboration with New York design firm Augusta Hoffman Studio. The debut offers four sumptuous fabrics across an array of earthy hues and window treatment styles, such as the sunbaked Umber Belgian linen and the Porcelain Mini Stripe Sheer, a semi-see-through number made from pure hemp.
De Gournay unveiled an insanely dreamy collaboration with New Delhi artist Vikram Goyal. The three-piece series reimagines the latter’s brass repoussé artworks as hand-painted bas-relief scenes on gilded paper, including the 17th century manuscript-fueled Dreamscape, the surrealist-symbol-infused Garden of Life, and the celestial Harmony of the Heavens.
Artistic Tile debuted three dazzling new designs just ahead of the new year. In addition to the diamond-patterned, Calacatta Gold–accented Palazzo Ducale, introductions include the dashing, basketweave-style Interlace and the matte, textured Tumbled, an ultradimensional marvel available in two shades of travertine and four types of marble.
Salvesen Graham’s Wovens fabric collection will warm up your next project in no time. Newcomers include the antique French tapestry–esque Genevieve, the solid Plain, and the sinuously lined Seaweed, a tonal charmer available in nine soothing shades, including mossy green Camo, brick red Cinnamon and sunbaked Dusty Pink.
Thayer Design Studio’s Shift rug is pure color-blocked perfection. Composed of chunky, cable-woven braids, the naturally durable wool-blend creation showcases a two-tone rectangular pattern accented with multicolored bands. It can be customized in any of the Boston-based brand’s 27 colors for truly one-of-a-kind floorcovering.
Stitchroom debuted a delightful line of upcycled cushion covers called The Pillow Shop. The launch transforms leftover fabrics from the Brooklyn workroom’s custom projects into super chic, quick-ship pillows, ranging from House of Hackney’s jewel-tone Hollyhocks to Thibaut’s Southport Stripe and Crypton’s Spotted Chenille Velvet.
Designtex tapped British artist Sophie Smallhorn for the shape-shifting Ribbon series. The vibrant collection boasts high-performing coated upholsteries adorned in a rhythmic linear motif in five polychromatic colorways: Pale, Blue, Navy, Grey and Pink.
Designer Cortney Bishop dropped Album 06, her latest collection of curated treasures. An ode to Italian craftsmanship, the highly collectible line spans 25 architectural creations bedecked in dexterous old-school details, with standouts such as the blossoming Murano glass Flowers table lamps and a brutalist brass-and-marble coffee table that dates back to the 1980s.
