“Sunbury has been a close strategic business partner for more than 20 years,” says Allen E. Gant Jr., chairman and CEO of Glen Raven. “Sunbury’s leadership in serving the designer, decorative jobber and furniture manufacturers with premium jacquard fabrics is unparalleled. Every Sunbury customer is important to us and represents an opportunity to combine resources and be better suppliers and business partners.”

“Glen Raven is presenting Sunbury with an extraordinary opportunity to continue our growth path,” says Hank Truslow Jr., CEO of Sunbury Textile Mills. “We are looking forward to continuing to serve our customers with innovative solutions, superior design and unsurpassed levels of customer service, as we’ve done for more than 60 years.”

Among the new targets for Glen Raven, which is a landfill-free company, are leveraging its four-continent reach to increase global exposure for Sunbury, which had been a longtime partner prior to the acquisition. Says Gant, “They make smaller increments than we do, which is very, very important for the high-end designer. We’re really excited about putting together our resources and their resources. High-end, wonderful fabrics that are both design and performance.”

“We look at it,” Gant continues, “as, quite frankly, a match made in heaven.”
