George Smith premiered its showroom at the Decoration & Design Building in New York last Thursday with an evening celebration. Rolling out a new collection by Commune, the brand welcomed 125 attendees, among them Commune principals Roman Alonso, Steven Johanknecht and Pam Shamshiri. Other notable guests included Newell Turner of Hearst Design Group, Robert Rufino of Elle Decor, Michael Reynolds of Wallpaper*, Eric Hoffman of Hoffman Creative and designers Fawn Galli, Benjamin Noriega Ortiz, Pamela Katch and Christopher Farr.
“It was a fantastic evening celebrating Commune’s new collection for George Smith in our beautiful new showroom. The collection is an exciting new direction for George Smith, and really shows that when you have exceptional quality, anything is possible,” Ben Norris, George Smith's managing director, tells EAL.
