Job Description

The Team:
The Saint-Louis team is in charge of the business development of the brand through North and South America, overseeing all aspects of this development: strategy, distribution, communication, partnerships… The showroom is responsible for direct sales to the design community, and plays an important role in developing brand awareness, particularly in the Northeast.

The Opportunity:
The Showroom Specialist is responsible for sales development in the showroom. You will be supporting the day-to-day activity of the showroom, develop outreach, and work alongside architects and designers (A&D) to see projects through completion. You will act as an ambassador for the brand, be able to speak of its heritage and unique craftsmanship, while ensuring the highest level of service.

About the Role:

In close coordination with the Showroom Director, you will support the showroom sales activity:

- Welcome clients and present collections
- Prepare presentations, tear sheets and quotes for clients
- Ensure regular follow-up of A&D projects from inception to delivery and maintain the highest level of service.
- You will perform various administrative tasks in relation to the sales process, including stock transfers, POS sales, etc.
- You will also actively participate to the development of our architect and designer network:
- Identify, prospect and grow A&D market opportunities through consistent direct outreach.
- Participate in local A&D events to increase Saint-Louis visibility and create a broader network.
- Establish strong relationships with top A&D clients to develop a steady and reliable sales flow.
- Manage and update A&D database

Job Requirements

3-5 years of experience in a similar role and/or department
Existing relationships in the Tri-State design community, good knowledge of key players in the industry and good networking skills
Capacity to generate new leads and transform them into sales
Reactive, creative, problem solver and open-minded
Independent, self-starter, and a strong team player spirit are key to succeed in this position
High level of attention to detail
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
Knowledge of Dynamics and of design software is a plus but not required
French is a plus but not mandatory
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Occasional travels possible
