The Showroom Sales Support will play a key role in assisting the sales team with daily operations, including preparing quotes, pricing sheets, fabric selections, and delivering materials to clients. This is an ideal position for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn within the design industry. You will work closely with the sales team, providing essential support to ensure smooth operations, while also independently managing assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in preparing quotes, pricing sheets, and order documentation
- Coordinate fabric selections and manage swatch inventory
- Deliver fabric samples and other materials to clients and design professionals
- Provide support during client consultations in the showroom
- Answer phones and assist clients by sharing relevant information as needed
- Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, updating records, and processing orders
- Track and manage incoming and outgoing shipments of materials and samples
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and organization
- Act as a liaison between sales and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the sales team
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling quotes, pricing, and documentation
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Self-motivated, able to work independently but enjoy collaborating in a team environment
- Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the design industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with CRM software is a plus
- Previous experience in a sales or support role within a design showroom or luxury retail environment is preferred, but not required
