GARDE NEW YORK is expanding our team and we are looking for a seasoned showroom salesperson to join us. This is a full time position based out of our NY showroom on the Upper East Side. We are open Monday - Friday and the right candidate will thrive in our fast paced environment selling our collection of lighting, furniture and home accessories to trade as well as end-user clients. - Showroom experience with experience in lighting and furniture is ideal. Time frame in position is less important than your mastery of these skills.
- Vast knowledge of the design world and principal players
- Established connections with NY area interior design community
- The usual litany of strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
- A strong desire to work in a front facing position with direct client contact
- Ability to conduct outreach to database through email or in-person meetings to build stronger relationships
