We are a nationally known interior design and to the trade home furnishings showroom based in New York City. We are currently in search of an individual with an interior design degree coupled with showroom experience and a strong desire to represent and sell our product collections in our active showroom environment.
Job Description:
- Focus on client needs, showroom sales and follow up.
- Professionally balance ever-changing tasks, deadlines and goals.
- Work with interior designers on furniture layout and project development.
- Build a clientele and sales through the above noted skills and talents.
- Facilitate the product and ordering needs of the in house interior design team.
- Interact directly with the Dir. of Brand Development and Dir. of Product and Showroom Development on brand promotion and business development of the Sedgwick & Brattle showroom and overall concept.
- Follow through with marketing materials, newsletters, e-mail blasts and invitations.
- Cultivate existing and generate new relationships with the interior design community as the representative of Sedgwick & Brattle.

• A degree in interior design or closely related field.
• 5+ years experience in showroom and/or retail interior design and/or luxury home furnishings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, decision-making skills.
