We are seeking a polished, passionate, and design-savvy Showroom Manager to lead our flagship space at the New York Design Center (200 LEX). This showroom is our brand’s window to the world, an immersive environment where design professionals, luxury buyers, and tastemakers discover the depth, elegance, and versatility of our work.
This is a high-profile role for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch design environment, understands the nuances of luxury clientele, and can embody and express our brand with excellence.
Lead a Luxury Experience:
- Serve as the primary face of Wendover at 200 LEX, delivering best-in-class service to discerning customers.
- Become an expert in all product categories, art, lighting, mirrors, soft goods, and interior signage, with deep knowledge of materials, artisanal techniques, custom capabilities, and lead times.
- Guide clients through our offerings with thoughtful insight, design fluency, and true partnership.
Drive Business with Purpose:
- Cultivate relationships with high-end residential designers, commercial firms, and key influencers.
- Identify customer types and tailor solutions that align with their specific needs and project goals.
- Use CRM to track leads, manage follow-ups, and report on showroom activity and performance.
Showroom & Brand Stewardship:
- Own the daily operations and presentation of the showroom, it must always be “show ready,” and a true reflection of the Wendover Luxury Lifestyle.
- Manage showroom inventory, product display, and merchandising in partnership with our Largo-based design and operations teams.
- Coordinate and host showroom events that draw the design community and build local visibility.
Collaborate & Influence:
- Partner with regional territory managers, brand leaders, and account project managers to support active accounts and strategic growth.
- Work closely with our marketing team and external partners to amplify the brand voice and presence in NYC.
- Represent Wendover at top-tier industry events and maintain a visible, respected presence in the design community.
Skills and Traits Necessary for Success
- A self-starter with 5+ years of showroom, retail, or luxury design industry experience.
- Exceptionally professional and polished, with impeccable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in the language of of interior design, materials, customization, and luxury service.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and fully proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, and inventory tools.
- Passionate about client experience, beauty, and storytelling through space.
- A natural connector who enjoys networking, event planning, and being an active part of NYC’s design scene.
