Job Description

E-commerce site management:
Ensure all product listings, descriptions, and pricing are accurate and compelling. Update inventory and manage product assortments efficiently. Apply critical thinking to solve challenges, demonstrating independence and a proactive approach in addressing issues.
Manage budget and sales reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis
Partner with Press & Marketing to align on global and local communications plans, including website graphics, email marketing, and social media content
Excellent customer service, ensuring a solution-based approach to customer communication
Ensure e-commerce operational and sales expectations are met

Showroom management and sales:
Coordinate all showroom appointments. Always maintain a clean and presentable showroom. Organize and schedule events throughout the year to promote brand awareness and sales in collaboration with the partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings and networking events
Understand the importance of an exceptional customer experience and building relationships with clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring a positive customer experience
Anticipate client needs to foster customer loyalty and generate sales revenue from existing and prospective clients
Must possess sound business judgment and the ability to identify trends
Manage storage, shipping and inventory
Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills

Job Requirements

Proficiency with an e-commerce platform; experience with Shopify or Squarespace is a MUST
Advanced knowledge of retail and merchandising concepts
Very strong analytical skills and inventory management experience
Dynamic and flexible, able to adapt to an environment that is constantly changing
Social media and content creation experience is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (for events)

TIMING: Position available immediately. Part-time (20-30 hours per week) starting at $30-$40 per hour with opportunity to expand to full-time in early 2025. June and July 2024 will require some travel to and from Rhinebeck to manage moving inventory and operations to NYC.
