SENIOR DESIGNER
Job Summary:
The Senior Designer is a self-motivated, highly skilled, organized and detail-oriented professional working solo or as a senior member of a Design team. The Senior Designer is responsible for the proper execution of all projects assigned to her/ him. It is the Senior Designer who ensures that all tasks are completed in a most organized, efficient and timely manner, for the successful outcome of the project, with minimal guidance from a superior. Is able to carry a heavier workload than an Interior Designer without compromising the quality or turnaround time of the projects. The position requires an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow the design process and coordinate all design selections, including but not limited to finishes, furniture, lighting, and decor.
• Represent the design firm to clients and vendors in a professional manner, effectively communicating project goals, design concepts, and project updates.
• Task scheduling and completion, ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Create and maintain design boards for client meetings and presentations.
• Oversee coordination of all renderings and drafting, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
• Conduct job site walkthroughs in conjunction with the Project Manager with all sub-contractors and vendors to ensure coordination of all design aspects, including but not limited to materials, installation, and finishing details.
• Utilize Google Drive as the primary project management tool for FFE, as well as track and manage project progress, schedules, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with other team members, as well as architects, contractors, and vendors, to ensure the successful completion of all projects.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design industry
• Completion of a certified design course or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop; Rendering skills in 3D a plus
• Excellent organizational, collaboration, time-management, and both verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to supervise a design team to assist in the completion of tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes
• Ability to interact with customers, vendors, and colleagues in a professional manner, positively representing the design firm
• A positive, friendly attitude and willingness to learn
