Job Description

A Senior Designer at Jeremiah Brent Design is responsible for managing multiple projects from
start to finish taking full accountability down to each detail. Senior Designers manage all facets
of high-end residential design for projects that are both ground up construction or full scale
renovations.

Senior Designers are extremely organized, have strong communication skills, leadership skills
and are team players who enjoy collaborating but also work autonomously when needed.

This role is suited for designers with 8-10+ years of experience.

Senior Designer tasks include, but are not limited to:
● Design Ideation And Initial Meetings With Clients
● Drawings, Floor Plan Development And Interior Design Construction Documentation
● Coordinate, Attend And Lead Client & Site Meetings.
● Manage And Coordinate Vendors And Trades To Organize Project Schedules
Effectively And Push The Project Forward
● Construction Administration: Strong Communication And Management Of
On-Site Builders Or Trades. Providing Diligent Site Supervision With A Focus
On Design Implementation And Quality Control. Proactively Managing Client
And Contractor Communication
● Strong Understanding Of Basic Construction Means And Methods
● Sourcing Of Architectural Materials And Finishes & FF+E
● Preparation Of Client Presentations, Proposal Packages For Client
● Develop Custom Furniture Details And Collaborate With Vendors For Fabrication
● Preparation Of Design Presentations & Proposals And Send To Client
● General File Management Of All Project And Client Related Documents
● Manage Budgets And Reviewing Payment Requisitions From Contractors
● FF+E Purchasing/Procurement With Tracking In Studio Designer. Coordinate And Manage Deliveries, Storage, And Installations
● Working With Office Manager To Monitor The Open Purchase Order Reports, Per Project
● Maintain Strong Vendor Communication And Visual Communications
● Manage And Maintain Daily Client Communication And Manage All Client Expectations

Job Requirements

Job Description Continued:
● Managing Project Schedules. Ensuring The Accuracy, Timely Installation And Quality Of All Aspects Of A Remodel Project
● Managing Daily Tasks For Dedicated Design Staff (2+ Team Members)
● Provide Mentorship To Dedicated Design Staff (2+ Team Members)
● Work Seamlessly With The Principal And Design Director To Manage All Aspects Of All Assigned Projects. Weekly/Bi-Weekly Update Calls.
● Executing Complete Project Installations

Must be highly skilled at modeling/rendering with expertise in Sketchup/Enscape

Additional skills:
● AutoCAD proficiency
● Studio Designer proficiency
● Google Suite
● Photoshop proficiency
● Clear Communication Skills Internally and Externally
● Understanding and Reading Vendor's coordination drawings and backgrounds
● Leadership qualities; ability to delegate to junior team and give clear and direct communication

Senior Project Managers are required to:
● Work a full time (40 hr work week)
● Be available to work in-office / on-site (non-remote position)
● Travel for projects both domestic and international
● Valid Driver’s License
