We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our award-winning luxury interior design firm. The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Applicant must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with strong communication skills. Applicant must be able to work well within a team setting. Applicant must have the experience and drive to work autonomously, with a business mindset and focus on a high-touch client experience.
Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and design projects through completion with minimal review and supervision
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and lifestyle to create personalized design solutions
• Generate detailed drawings and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and build team partners
• Drafting furniture plans, elevations, and custom furniture plans in AutoCAD
• Tracking all project tasks, time billing, and updating schedules daily
• Staying abreast of industry trends, materials, and technologies to bring cutting-edge and timeless designs to our projects.
• Mentor and guide design assistants, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
• Sourcing materials and selections for new construction and renovation projects
• Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience, high-end residential experience preferred
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture preferred
• The ideal candidate is passionate about design, a team player, and is detail-oriented
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Studio Designer, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Individuals must be responsible, organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent time management skills
• Project management experience including creating schedules and meeting tight deadlines for the builder
• Must possess extensive product and vendor knowledge
• Collaborative nature with an interest in working with other talented design-minded creatives and contributing to the overall success of the firm
