Studio Inc. is a New York City based boutique interior design firm specializing in high end residential projects across Manhattan, the Hamptons, Miami and Aspen. We strive to create bespoke interiors that are timeless and beautiful yet functional and tailored to the needs of each client. The founder of our team has over twenty years of experience and has worked for notable firms within the industry. He has led commercial, residential, and development projects. We are currently seeking a full time Senior Interior Designer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team.

• Draft floor plans, furniture plans, interior elevations and RCPs with meticulous attention to detail
• Produce detailed custom furniture drawings and oversee production of custom designs
• Shop and source furniture, fixtures, fabric, materials, hardware, and accessories
• Basic knowledge in New York design market and vendors
• Preparation and sourcing concept imagery and materials for initial internal and client presentations
• Solid knowledge of interior detailing (carpentry, millwork etc.) and furniture fabrication methodologies
• Collaborate with and manage communications with architects, engineers, contractors, workrooms, dealers, artisans, and other professionals of the trade
• Management of meeting minutes, project schedules, interiors budgets and all deliverables
• Assist with general architectural projects in addition to interior design related tasks
• Job site visits to oversee construction progress and installations
• Track project tasks for multiple projects in a fast-paced design environment

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a residential interior design firm
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of Studio Designer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to prepare presentation materials, as well as maintaining regular communication with clients
• Creative skills and design development skills with strong attention to detail
• Project management experience successfully working on projects from inception to final installation
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
• Available for daily work in the office in New York City
• Available for job site visits as required
