Position Overview:David Phoenix Interior Design is seeking a seasoned and polished Senior Project Manager / Senior Designer to join our Palm Beach studio. The ideal candidate is a confident, detail-obsessed professional with a refined design sensibility that aligns with our classic, livable aesthetic. This leadership role involves managing complex luxury residential projects from concept through installation, client-facing presentations, and studio workflow oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and execution of multiple high-end residential projects from start to finish
Translate David Phoenix’s signature aesthetic into thoughtful, tailored interiors
Manage client relationships with discretion, professionalism, and impeccable service
Oversee studio and vendor communication, purchasing, budgeting, and construction coordination
Direct and mentor junior staff; review design documentation for accuracy and quality
Prepare, present, and refine design concepts, floor plans, FF&E, and material boards
Conduct on-site visits to oversee installations and ensure project alignment
Ensure all deliverables are accurate and with a sense of urgency .
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in high-end residential design
Proven leadership in managing full-scale luxury interior design projects
Deep knowledge of custom furniture, millwork, finishes, and construction practices
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Studio Designer, and Microsoft Office
Highly organized, resourceful, and able to manage deadlines with grace
Strong communication skills and a polished, client-facing presence
Aesthetic sensibility in alignment with the David Phoenix brand
