This position has dual roles of Sample Librarian and Display Associate. As Sample Librarian, the position includes processing sample requests for fabric and wallcovering, mailing packages to clients, ordering restock from vendors, restocking inventory upon arrival, and providing a high level of service to clients and vendors both in-person and via e-mail and phone. As Display Associate, the position includes unpacking and organizing new fabrics and wallcoverings as they arrive and hanging them in the showroom according to the instructions provided. This position also includes assistance with occasional moving of furniture within the showroom.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, in fluent English. Fluency in Spanish is helpful, but not required. The candidate must also have at least three years' experience in a customer-service related position, preferably in a luxury-goods or service industry. Due to the physical aspect of the Display Associate tasks, the candidate must feel comfortable using a 14' ladder and have the ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs.
