Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Luxury Store Manager to lead the launch and ongoing success of our first flagship store in Manhattan. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the brand’s physical presence in one of the world’s most competitive luxury markets. The Store Manager will operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and take full ownership of all aspects of store performance, including sales, team leadership, merchandising, client development, operations, and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Store Environment & Operations
Maintain an impeccable luxury retail environment that reflects the brand’s sophisticated identity. Oversee daily operations including visual merchandising, supply ordering, inventory management, workroom organization, and opening/closing procedures. Ensure every detail contributes to an elevated, memorable customer experience while maintaining brand standards and controlling operating expenses.
Sales & Business Development
Drive store sales to meet and exceed financial targets. Actively demonstrate and sell luxury products, articulating their superior quality, craftsmanship, benefits, and value. Cultivate a high-performance sales culture and lead proactive outreach to interior designers, architects, and affluent clientele. Build and grow a robust client database to generate repeat business and long-term loyalty.
Customer Service
Deliver exceptional white-glove service as the cornerstone of the brand experience. Lead and mentor the sales team to provide personalized, attentive service at every touchpoint. Collaborate across departments to continuously elevate the client journey and uphold the highest service standards.
Merchandising & Purchasing
Curate visually stunning product displays that highlight the beauty and benefits of our collections. Manage vendor relationships, oversee merchandise selection, and handle ordering for new arrivals and replenishment stock to ensure the store is always impeccably presented.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, develop, and inspire a top-tier retail team. Manage scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, and create a positive, collaborative workplace culture. Foster professional growth and maintain high levels of motivation and accountability.
Additional Duties
Plan and execute in-store events and promotions, monitor competitive activity, and collaborate with other company locations. Stay current on luxury market trends and product expertise.
