SPACE 519 is looking for a Sales Stylist (full or part-time) who has a love for fashion, home décor, beauty and all things chic. We offer a small team where all members’ contributions are valued.

Specifically, this position will:
• Emulate the SPACE 519 brand aesthetic and embody a strong sense of fashion
every day.
• Contribute positively to a team, including store owners, that consistently creates
and delivers a welcoming and exceptional client experience.
• Specifically focusing on Home and Apothecary categories:
o Develop, maintain and nurture strong client relationships
o Work with the Marketing and Events Manager in developing and driving marketing efforts, including the coordination of special and private events.
o Achieve personal sales goals through walk-ins, clienteling, outreach and special events.
• Maintain all brand & operating standards to support consistency.
• Actively engage in all store happenings and stay up-to-date on all current trends in
the home, beauty and fashion industry.
Ideal candidates will have:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a comparable
environment.
• Results orientation and proven ability to consistently meet and/or exceed sales
goals.
• Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team in a sometimes demanding
environment.
• Ability to strategize own business and be self motivated to increase individual
productivity and work to achieve store sales goals.
• Attention to detail with ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Husbands and business partners, Lance Lawson and Jim Wetzel travel the world to curate an assortment of unique and hard to find items across a broad range of categories for SPACE 519 including: designer women’s apparel and accessories, fine jewelry, luxury apothecary, inspired home collections, gourmet foodstuffs and unique gift items. The store opened in 2010 in space five nineteen on the fifth floor of a luxury shopping center on Michigan Avenue. Eight years later the shop moved two blocks west and gut rehabbed the ground floor of a landmark Chicago pre-war building. With this expansion they introduced food programming, including The Lunchroom, and added additional design partners and product categories.
