Job Description

Within Dedar US, as an Inside and outside Sales Associate, you will contribute to the successful operation of the DEDAR New York branch in terms of sales, service, and operational effectiveness.

The Inside and Outside Sales Associate, reporting to the NY Showroom and Territory Manager, will build and maintain sales in NYC by consistently reaching existing customers while identifying new opportunities and following up on potential leads.
Engage with our customers and act as Brand Ambassadors with every person the role interacts with to help increase Dedar brand awareness.

This role's primary objective is to continue developing our client collaborative relationship. This in-depth relationship will be developed over many touch points; therefore, this role requires a creative and flexible approach to selling.
As a luxury brand, our primary sales sector is residential, and this role will be expected to grow and support this sector for both large and coming new design firms. We value our collaborative relationship with many key designers in the market and are constantly looking for exciting new ways to support them and develop new ones.
In addition to the technical skills required, the candidate must be able to communicate with internal stakeholders all aspects of the sales activities that will be carried out.

Job Requirements

Your main missions are:
+ Increasing the number of known clients that visit the showroom with constant and proactive action (phone calls and emails);
+ Researching actively new leads to expand the client database;
+ Grow sales of the New York City territory;
+ Manage sales by developing new and existing Dedar clientele;
+ Fulfill databases on clients using our digital tools while updating marketing and communications;
+ Build a broad base of repeat customers;
+ Provide accurate follow-through on all projects from initial quoting through installation;
+ Keep client up to date with all new products and services;
+ Keep active and up-to-date reports of customer activity and business pipeline via ongoing report updates;
+ Have a perfect knowledge of the collections from a stylistic and technical viewpoint;
+ Supply customers with information on products marketed by the company;
+ Present the collection with enthusiasm and feeling;
+ Supply and quickly manage all memos for ongoing projects and samples for the library;
+ You will maintain client libraries and check for phased-out collections and missing best-selling articles.
Required Skills:
+ Associate or Bachelor's Degree;
+ Sales experience with at least five years developed in similar positions in design, architecture, arts, and interior environments;
+ Knowledge of the luxury market and architectural and arts world. Good understanding of textiles for interiors. Existing relationships with high-end residential designers;
+ High-energy, focused sales skills and organization;
+ Excellent communication skills, optimistic, positive attitude, and great attention to detail;
+ Proactive problem-solving thinker and avant-garde thinker;
+ Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent presentation skills;
+ Willing to support corporate vision through marketing and social media efforts locally;
