Chelsea Textiles is seeking a Sales Associate to work across the fabrics, trimmings and wallpaper departments.
In this role your main duties will include:
- Assisting clients in the showroom, via email or over the phone on all fabric and accessories inquiries.
- Giving out memos and following with clients who have requested them.
- Help put together schemes across all products.
- Working with high-end interior designers to help realize their projects and make suggestions based on your knowledge of the products.
- Assisting the sales team where needed.
- Keeping the showroom appearance to high standard.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for textiles and interiors and a confident and friendly manner. Experience in a showroom setting is preferred.
We are growing! Chelsea Textiles is world renowned for making beautiful, hand-embroidered fabrics for over 30 years. More recently, it has expanded its collection to include wovens, prints, stripes, silks, velvets, trimming and wallpapers, all designed perfectly compliment its embroidery collection. The position on offer a full time, Monday through Friday and based out of our New York showroom in the Fine Arts Building. This role is client facing and will require a high-end attitude and presentation.
