Chelsea Textiles is seeking an Embroidered Fabrics Sale Assistant to the Senior Embroidery Sales Consultant. Your main duties will include:
- Assisting Clients in the showroom, via email or over the phone on all embroidery inquiries.
- Giving out memos and following up with clients.
- Working with high end interior designers to help them realize their projects and make suggestions based on your knowledge of our product.
- Working on custom orders and liaising between client and production.
- Assisting US rep showrooms with their embroidery orders.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for textiles, be highly organized with strong admin and communication skills, great attention to detail and a confident and friendly manner.
Experience using accounting software, such as Sage, is preferred or must be a quick learner
We are growing! Chelsea Textiles is world renowned for making beautiful, hand-embroidered fabrics for over 30 years. More recently, it has expanded its collection to include wovens, prints, stripes, silks, velvets, trimming and wallpapers, all designed perfectly compliment its embroidery collection. The position on offer a full time, Monday through Friday and based out of our New York showroom in the Fine Arts Building. This role is client facing and will require a high-end attitude and presentation.
