Job Description

The Sales & Gallery Representative will be responsible for assisting the Sales Director in the opening and daily management of the first Pierre Augustin Rose gallery in the U.S. Providing excellent customer service, booking appointments, managing walk-ins, sales administration, and ensuring that the gallery operates smoothly. This role combines sales skills with an artistic eye and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:
Greet clients and assist them in their selection of furniture pieces, offering great product knowledge and recommendations
Be the face of Pierre Augustin Rose for the U.S market
Provide personalized sales consultations to clients in the gallery, ensuring a memorable experience
Manage client inquiries and follow up on leads, with a focus on converting walk-ins to sales
Support the Sales Director in expending and growing the US market
Work with Sales Director to identify growth opportunities and meet sales targets

Gallery Operations:
Organize and maintain the gallery space to ensure that displays are visually appealing and well-maintained.
Assist with setting up new displays, rotating pieces, and ensuring the gallery’s overall aesthetic aligns with brand standards.
Ensure the gallery is clean, organized, and ready for customers at all times.
Manage appointment bookings, ensuring that new and existing clients are scheduled for walk-throughs
Manage gallery’s calendar in collaboration with Sales Director to ensure there are no conflicts

Administrative & Miscellaneous Tasks:
Process sales transactions, handle payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
Monitor clients’ orders with the production department, based in Paris, and ensure deadlines are met
Track clients’ orders’ deliveries with the logistics department, based in Paris
Assist with the organization of gallery events or exhibitions.
Monitor client feedback and communicate any relevant insights to the Sales Director

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales (preferably in the furniture, art, or design industries).
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
Knowledge of furniture design and trends is a plus.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CRM software (experience with point-of-sale systems is a bonus).
