Job Title: Project Manager – Interior Design (Part-Time, In-Person)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy Project Manager to join our interior design firm. This part-time, in-person role is ideal for a proactive professional with at least 5 years of experience in working with design teams. In this position, you will work closely with our lead designer, taking on critical responsibilities to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. This role offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to evolve into a partnership and become the right-hand person on the ground as our business expands.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring all aspects of each project are on track.
Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and professional communication.
Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange and manage client meetings, vendor appointments, and site visits, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
Material Selections & Budget Management: Assist with selecting materials and managing project budgets to meet design standards and client expectations.
Site Visits & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and address any issues promptly.
Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for the firm by representing our brand and values in client homes and public spaces.
Collaboration: Work in tandem with the lead designer, providing insights and feedback to drive project success and operational excellence.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or a similar role within the interior design industry, preferably working alongside designers.
Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work both in the office and independently on site visits, with a flexible schedule to accommodate varying project needs.
Reliability & Trustworthiness: Proven track record of responsible decision-making and the utmost professionalism, especially when working independently in client homes.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs is a plus.
