Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of all design projects, ensuring timelines, purchasing, budgets, and installations are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of accountability. This role serves as the primary operator of project execution, translating design intent into actionable plans and maintaining momentum across all phases of a project. This is a project-focused role.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
- 4+ years of project management experience in interior design or a related field
- Strong operational, financial, and logistical competency
- Proficiency in Studio Designer preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

This is a full-time, on-site, non-exempt position paid hourly ($45-$52/hour). Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K plan with profit sharing program, regular team outings, and an annual professional development stipend.

Job Requirements

Project Leadership & Execution:
- Own project timelines from concept through installation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate team workflow to meet deadlines.
- Lead weekly project status and expediting meetings.
- Identify and resolve project risks proactively.

Purchasing & Order Management:
- Manage the purchasing lifecycle from quote through delivery.
- Maintain financial and inventory records.
- Review Purchase Orders and Client Order pricing.
- Support Client Order development.
- Manage vendor communication, order tracking, and expediting.
- Maintain expediting records in Studio Designer.
- Resolve vendor quality issues, damages, and order discrepancies.
- Manage Client Reimbursable Invoices.

Budget & Financial Coordination (Project-Level):
- Attend client meetings and distribute action items.
- Ensure design selections align with approved budgets.
- Coordinate invoicing and vendor payments.
- Manage Client Reimbursable and Design Time invoices.
- Identify financial discrepancies and project risks.

Installation & Logistics:
- Plan and manage project installations.
- Receive and inspect project deliveries.
- Coordinate vendors, deliveries, warehouse logistics, and site activities.
- Oversee onsite installations and resolve quality-control issues.
- Communicate with clients throughout installations.

Process Development (Project-Level):
- Improve project workflows and expediting systems.
- Standardize installation, quoting, ordering, and documentation processes.
- Train designers on documentation, project handoffs, and budget awareness.
