Workstead is seeking a Project Manager to join its Brooklyn studio. This role is suited to an organized documentarian with a sharp eye who believes that a design is only as good as the lines you put on paper and how well you carry them through construction. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual will play an integral role in shaping projects while bringing rigor, clarity, and coordination to their execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects from concept through construction, including schedules, work plans, meetings, deliverables, consultant coordination, client communication, procurement, and team follow-through
- Produce, develop, and coordinate drawing sets, details, FF&E specifications, finish schedules, and other project documentation
- Work closely with Design Leads and project teams to carry design intent through documentation, coordination, and construction, identifying and resolving issues that may compromise the design
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, fabricators, and other project partners to ensure information is complete, coordinated, and communicated clearly
- Lead project workflows and communication, including agendas, meeting notes, action items, project tracking, and clear assignment of responsibilities, deadlines, and next steps
- Participate in and coordinate Construction Administration, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, punch lists, and contractor and consultant follow-up
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and project partners, communicating clearly and helping maintain alignment around project goals, schedule, scope, and design intent
- Present work internally and externally with clarity and confidence
- Work with senior project leadership to monitor project staffing, scope, schedule, and financial performance, providing the day-to-day visibility needed to identify issues and make informed decisions
- Mentor and guide junior team members

Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 6+ years of post-graduate experience, ideally in high-end, conceptually driven residential or hospitality design
- Experience working across all phases of projects, from concept through construction
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and fabricators
- Strong technical design and documentation skills, with experience developing and coordinating drawing sets, details, specifications, and schedules
- Strong design sensibility and the judgment to understand, communicate, and protect design intent throughout project development and execution
- Knowledge of space planning, detailing, materials, high-end FF&E, specifications, and construction best practices
- Demonstrated project management skills, including scheduling, work planning, meeting management, client communication, and tracking project scope and progress
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and specification/procurement tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and collaboration skills

Salary:
- $90,000 - $120,000 annually
