Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent and Logistics Coordinator to manage vendor communications, place orders, and coordinate deliveries for our interior design firm. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials and products. This is an in-house, full-time position.

Responsibilities:
• Communicate with vendors to place orders and confirm details.
• Place orders for materials and furnishings based on project requirements and timelines
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and deliveries.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors promptly.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Help with office tasks as needed and be flexible with assisting in needs at the office.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or logistics (furniture, retail, or interior design experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Studio Designer.Skills and Competencies:
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organization skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
