Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role has over five years of experience in interior design and interior architecture and the ability to manage and deliver a project from start through to completion under the creative direction of our Principal Designer.

Some of the job responsibilities and requirements include:

Experience in designing and furnishing interior spaces on renovations and new builds on high end residential and commercial projects.
Working with Principals in a leadership role to assist with project scheduling and procurement programming
Collaborating with Principals to prepare and review architectural drawings, renderings, presentations and construction documents for submittal.
Display a high level of skill at sourcing and selecting furniture, materials, and fixtures that fall in line with a project budget and aesthetic.
Ability to juggle a number of different projects across phases, while keeping all projects organized and progressing.
Be a generator of ideas, solutions and evolution in the Studio.
Display an elevated sense of aesthetic and appreciation for Design and Art and a desire to grow as a leader and designer.

Job Requirements

Desired skills and qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant interior design experience within the high-end, luxury residential space.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture and finishes and an avid appreciation for overall design aesthetic.
- Understanding of space planning principles.
- Able to effectively develop and communicate design concepts.

Software Currently Used in our Studio: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Studio Designer, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Enscape, Rhino, Revit.
