Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading our procurement operations with a focus on accuracy and improving efficiency and profatibioliity
- communicating directly with clients on matters related to procurement
- Managing all aspects of client proposals and purchase orders using Studio Designer and IVY
- Monitoring sales orders, vendor acknowledgments, lead times, and timely shipping to destinations
- Setting and maintaining trade accounts as needed
- Phone calls and additional communication with vendors, shippers, etc., tracking status
- Identifying errors or discrepancies in orders; following up on solutions with vendors. Addressing damage issues and follow-up on repairs/replacements
- Labor/freight coordination
- Liaison between receiving warehouses and vendors
- Installation assistance and attendance, coordination, and designer assistance
- Warehouse inventory inspection (occasionally)

Job Requirements

- 5+ years experience in procurement operations related to interior decorating
- BA or higher in a related field
- Strong communication skills (business-level English) and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be a US green card holder or US citizen
- Drivers License
- Based in the NYC metro area
