Torrance Mitchell Designs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager. This role will require managing procurement, creating and tracking orders, invoicing and billing, vendor payments, and coordinating installations. The ideal candidate is solution-focused, proactive, resourceful, and has strong time management and communications skills. Strong financial skills and accuracy are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires someone who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to keep projects running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the full procurement process, ensuring timely and accurate purchasing and installation of materials, furniture, and accessories.
- Generate, process, and maintain comprehensive documentation of proposals, invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
- Track and coordinate project needs, schedules, orders, deliveries, ensuring smooth procurement and installation.
- Support principal through all design phases, and serve as liaison between vendors, contractors, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth communication and execution.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines and procurement schedules.
- Coordinate and communicate with accounting monthly.
- Client invoices and monthly billing.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- A professional with 2 years’ experience in admin, billing, procurement or logistics
- Proficiency with Microsoft, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Quickbooks
- Experience with Houzz Pro / IVY and Harvest, a plus
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles and processes preferred
- Excellent communicator, written and oral
- Resourceful and proactive, able to juggle multiple priorities; strong sense of urgency and initiative
