We are seeking a Showroom Sales Associate to provide exceptional service and strive to create and maintain lasting business relationships with our clients and industry partners. The candidate will serve as an Ambassador to the design community. The position will combine aspects of selling, marketing and design expertise. Interaction with the area design community will be key to success. The ideal person should have prior experience with regular designers in the market. The candidate will focus heavily on networking, staying current with trade publications, and attending important industry events. Regular visits to design studios as well as providing up to date information about the company and our product line to our account base, will be paramount.
Duties:
* Assist all clients and designers visiting the showroom or over the phone/e-mail.
* Responsible for all aspects of the sales process; selling, quoting, order entry, order follow up.
* Manage/maintain active provided client list. Identify key accounts and prospects.
* Active outreach to new, or dormant clients, in your territory.
* Contribute and provide market feedback from clients.
* Five years of sales and/or design experience desired.
Established in 1953, Ferrell Mittman is a major manufacturer of designer furniture with our flagship showroom located in New York. The company offers a high-end line of both standard and customized furniture, sold only to the design community (to the trade). The manufacturing operation is located in High Point, NC.
