Job Description

Wildwood is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to manage the New York state, NYC and Northern New Jersey territory (north of Princeton). This role involves cultivating and building relationships with existing and new customers, representing our line of lighting, accent furniture, mirrors, and decorative accessories. The ideal candidate is a strong presenter, and already has established relationships with designers and retail stores in the region. Wildwood is committed to delivering the highest quality unique product with superior customer service, and this role will play a key part in maintaining that standard. This is a commission-based position with the opportunity to work with a premier brand in the home furnishings industry.

What Your Day Looks Like:
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with interior designers, retailers and contract/hospitality firms in the territory.
• Proactively identifying new business opportunities and nurturing leads to generate sales.
• Representing Wildwood’s product line through in-person meetings, virtual presentations, and trade shows.
• Traveling throughout the New York and Northern New Jersey territory to meet with interior designers and visit retail stores.
• Attending industry events, such as High Point Market.
• Consistently providing fast-response customer service by answering product inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Tracking and reporting sales activities to help grow the business in your region.
• Working with your dedicated Wildwood customer service representative to ensure high quality service.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management & Sales Growth
- Cultivate relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales.
- Leverage established contacts with interior designers and home furnishings stores to grow territory business.

Product Presentation & Representation:
- Showcase Wildwood’s product line to both potential and existing clients through regular presentations and meetings.
- Be an expert in using our eCat sales application.

Industry Expertise & Event Participation:
- Stay current on industry trends and competitors' offerings to better position Wildwood’s products in the market.
- Attend the High Point Markets and other relevant trade shows.
- Provide feedback to Wildwood's sales team and product development team, based on observations in the territory.

Travel & Territory Management:
- Regularly travel throughout the New York and Northern New Jersey territory to meet with clients.
- Maximize your time on the road by proactively scheduling client visits and product demonstrations.
