Our interior design studio seeks a talented, detail-oriented, self-motivated intermediate designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in a fast paced interior design studio and be tech savvy with exceptional AutoCAD drawing skills.

This position will collaborate closely with the Principal and team on every aspect of our design process from start to finish, including working on conceptual design of our project, design development, management and execution of large scale interiors projects.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and commitment, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
This position is full-time and in-office at our West Hollywood studio.

Job Duties

● Manage all aspects FF&E procurement.
● Produce detailed drawings for all custom-built furniture pieces and conduct progress inspections with vendors.
● Interface heavily with clients including via email, phone and on presentations.
● Assist Senior Designer and Principal as needed with various other project needs.

Job Qualifications
● Excellent AutoCAD skills and working knowledge of Studio Designer
● Extensive knowledge of spatial planning, scale and proportions.
● Experience in design development of projects including the following: space planning; drawing furniture plans and elevations; product selection and specification; creating lighting plans, tile and stone layouts, and other relevant construction and interiors drawings.
● Several years of experience/exposure managing all phases of residential projects from initial construction to installation of interiors.
● Experience sourcing high end furnishings and finish materials.
● Experience creating budgets as well as schedules for lighting, plumbing, paint, hardware, tile & stone, etc.
● Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills for effective communication with heavy client interaction.
● Preferred BA in Interior Design
● At least 3 to 5 years of experience working full time in an interior design studio
● Ability to travel to sites within the US, and a driver’s license is a strong plus.
