WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:

The Metro Design Consultant is a design enthusiast who has high energy and loves to build relationships within the design industry. You will attend to the day-to-day operations of the Dallas showroom and service the metro Dallas area through product presentations, sampling, and seeking growth opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients within the Dallas showroom and design community.
• Be a market expert, staying current with interior design trends, industry leaders, and local design events relevant to the Dallas territory.
• Be a trim expert and resource for designers; Offers suggestions to clients pertaining to pattern, color, and style.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience within the showroom and during outside presentations and aspire to exceed the clients’ expectations.
• Manage day-to-day showroom operations, including inventory and price checks, reservation and order processing, and client follow-up
• Maintaining clients' sample libraries via sample orders, book orders, and removing discontinued items
• Schedule appointments with Dallas-based designers, ensuring a consistent and efficient weekly calendar
• Actively seek opportunities to grow the residential and hospitality business through outreach, sampling, and networking events.

WHO YOU ARE:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design or a similar role.
• Strong passion for design, with a keen eye for detail, color, and scheming
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and cultivate long-term relationships.
• Proven sales experience is a plus
• Degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of current interior design trends.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Valid Driver’s License required
