Job Description

Led by our Curator, the design team works on a wide range of corporate, restaurant, community, and philanthropic projects.

Join our team as a talented and organized Junior Interior Designer & Project Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality design projects. Be part of a dynamic team known for creating distinctive styles using luxurious materials, custom finishes, and unique design elements.

We’re looking for someone with exposure to high-end residential design and exceptional organizational skills. In this role, you’ll support the preparation of presentation and production drawings, manage project-related purchases, coordinate FF&E, assist with antiques and art procurement, and oversee storage and logistics for move-ins. You’ll ensure seamless project execution by meticulously tracking and cataloging all items from concept through completion.

What you will be doing as our Junior Interior Designer / Project Coordinator:
• Prepare project schedules and timelines for interior FF&E, checking in regularly to confirm project directions and task alignment.
• Organize binders to catalog the status of all furnishings, accessories, and art by room.
• Serve as a liaison between vendors and internal teams to obtain approval for estimated costs within budget and facilitate payment and delivery.
• Oversee the receiving, opening, and inspecting of shipments, coordinating their integration into storage.
• Track all purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
• Support the preparation of architectural presentations and production drawings.

Job Requirements

Skills & experience necessary for our Junior Interior Designer / Project Coordinator
will include, but are not limited to:
• 1+ years of experience in architectural or interior design; 2+ years supporting office operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and discretion.
• Ability to pivot quickly with changing project priorities and provide timely status updates.
• Proven ability to work independently, taking minimal instruction and executing tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Familiarity with design requirements, construction methods, furnishings, and materials, including interior design and antiques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent work experience.
• Reliable transportation and a clean MVR record (background check required).
