Overview of the Junior Designer Position:
Designer’s primary role is to support the Project Team in all areas of interior design from concept through procurement and installation.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing tearsheets, pricing, and specification information for client presentations.
Preparing design drawings for client presentations (furniture plans, elevations, 3-D renderings.)
Maintaining incoming architectural correspondence and digital drawing folders and systems.
Maintaining Materials library.
Developing finish, fixtures, equipment, hardware and plumbing schedules.
Creating detailed FF&E Specifications.
Tracking, ordering, and processing purchase orders.
Vendor correspondence and order management.
4 year degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited university.
1-2 years of professional experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong graphic presentation skills.
Interest in development and growth in responsibility.
