We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Intermediate Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and motivated team player with a keen eye for aesthetics, assisting the principal designer in creating functional and visually appealing spaces. This role requires effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and team members to bring design concepts to life, and provides an opportunity to work side by side with the principal and senior designers. You will be fully immersed in every aspect of the design process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Principal and Senior Designers to develop and execute projects from concept to installation
• Prepare materials for client presentations, including design boards and sample selections
• Create and revise AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and custom furniture designs
• Source finishes, furniture, lighting, and materials, ensuring selections are functional and align with the design vision
• Communicate with vendors and showrooms to place and track orders, manage deliveries, and oversee installations
• Maintain and organize the office space and provide administrative support
• Develop social media content and post on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
• Resourceful, detail-oriented, and responsible, with the ability to follow through on tasks independently
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite required
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred
• Professional experience in an interior design or architecture firm preferred
• Strong understanding of design concepts and a background in art preferred
• Knowledge of fabrics, upholstery, and high-end design materials is a plus
