Rees Roberts & Partners is seeking an interior designer with experience in high-end residential design. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in high-end residential interiors. The role is full time and based in Tribeca. Overtime is occasionally required to meet project deadlines.

An ideal candidate will enhance our studio culture with design references, technical resources, and leadership. We’re searching for someone who possess exceptional creative talent and technical ability, is self-motivated, and can collaborate seamlessly with other designers, clients, fabricators, and artisans

• Development of presentations for clients, working closely with partners and junior designers
• Extensive knowledge of furniture, rug, and accessory sourcing including custom design development
• Project administration including processing of shop drawings, materials, strike-offs, oversight, and CFA’s
• Preparation of furniture plans, elevations and detailed furniture drawings
• Produce renderings, layouts and graphic presentations
• Maintain scope, budgets, and project timelines
• Manage junior designers through training, delegation, and providing constructive feedback
• Keep clear and accessible records of design decisions and purchases
• Travel to furniture manufactures to review prototypes as needed
• Travel to installations as needed
