We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated Interior Designer who can work independently and collaboratively to support our high-end residential and boutique hospitality projects in a fast-paced environment. This person must possess a keen understanding of the design/construction process, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proficiency in AutoCAD, a willingness to learn, and a professional demeanor.
• 1-2 years experience in high-end residential design or boutique hospitality design
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Designer preferred
• Proficient in AutoCad; able to create detailed drawings and elevations, including but not limited to RCPs, detailed elevations, furniture plans, finish details
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Experienced in creating schedules (door hardware, lighting, and finishes)
• Professional demeanor through all forms of communication, and an excellent communicator
• Track and monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion
• High attention to detail to ensure design intent and technical accuracy
• Develop proposals and finalize project-related details
• Understanding of furniture, millwork, and cabinetry construction, detailing, and related shop drawing review process
• Obtain vendor quotes and work closely with the purchasing agent to track and expedite orders
• Coordinate with the warehouse to monitor deliveries and update the project status report daily
• Review projects and tasks, troubleshooting any issues to keep projects on track
• Willing to travel to job sites as needed (out-of-state travel)
• Knowledge of Studio Designer is a plus
• Must be based in the Knoxville/Maryville area or willing to relocate
