We are seeking a creative and skilled Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the interiors of residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs, and oversee the execution of design projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for interior design projects.
Create detailed design plans, mood boards, and visual concepts to present to clients.
Develop floor plans, 3D models, and renderings to effectively communicate design ideas.
Select and source furniture, fixtures, lighting, color schemes, materials, and decor items.
Ensure that designs are functional, aesthetically appealing, and meet safety, sustainability, and accessibility standards.
Work with contractors, architects, and other professionals to implement designs, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Visit project sites to oversee construction and installation, ensuring design specifications are followed.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to clients.
Provide design advice and solutions for space planning, storage, and layout optimization.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Prepare and present client proposals, including costs, materials, and timelines.
Assist clients in making decisions related to interior design selections.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant programs.
Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, color theory, and materials.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of current interior design trends and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
NCIDQ certification or equivalent professional accreditation
