Meredith Ellis Textiles is seeking an outside sales representative based in Florida to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will take ownership in creating and implementing a regional strategy for the distribution of our fabric and wallpaper line.
* Develop long-standing productive relationships with current customers and foster new relationships through strategic outreach
* Develop & implement an effective statewide sales effort
* Explore new sales channels while building strong relationships with interior designers
* Travel to cities in Florida to meet with Interior Designers and attend local design events
* Organize occasional pop-up appearances in Palm Beach and other key markets.
* Create data-based sales strategies.
* Create and generate monthly/quarterly sales reports to help guide our team in growth projections
* Keep active and up-to-date customer activity reports
• Florida Based, Ideally Palm Beach area
• 3-5 Years of Sales Experience, preferably in the Interior Design Industry
• Professional communication skills; both written and verbal
* Organized, detail oriented, and able to see a task through from start to finish
* Creative, innovative, outside of the box thinker
• Self-motivated with a positive, professional, can-do attitude
• Strong network of contacts within the design community
• Love of the interior design industry
• Willingness to travel
Interior designer Meredith Ellis launched her eponymous textile line in 2023 after over two decades in the design industry..
She is also the founder and owner of JAMES showroom, a to-the-trade textile, lighting and furniture showroom with locations in Texas and New York City.
Meredith has garnered clients, industry partners and praise for her inspired and discerning eye.
Her initial textile collection pays homage to the Texas Hill Country and the rich visual and cultural landscapes that surrounded Meredith in her childhood. She has taken those memories and married them with historical, travel, and nature-inspired references to create nuanced narratives with a fresh sense of whimsy.
Meredith Ellis' wallpapers are set to launch this fall, with the second collection debuting in late Winter/ Early Spring.
