We're hiring Sales Executives in NYC and Dallas to independently drive sales to architecture and design clients with a focus on high-value commercial, hospitality, and multi-unit residential projects. This role is 100% commission-based and ideal for someone entrepreneurial, well-connected, and fluent in the design/build process. This is a half-time, remote position, and while there is no set schedule, this person will spend most of their time presenting our work to potential new clients during standard business hours. You’ll have a passion for connecting with people in design and architecture and establishing new relationships.
The Commission Based Sales Executive is a representative of Ravenhill Studio out in the world, promoting and connecting with people in the industry to keep us top of mind. You’ll be supported with samples, printed collateral, and access to our Sales team for advice and trouble shooting.
Major Responsibilities:
+ Prospecting new business by sending emails, making calls, and scheduling client meetings on a weekly basis.
+ Calling on existing clients at their offices.
+ Documenting all customer interactions in Salesforce, including logging meetings and updating customer contact information.
+ Planning for upcoming in person meetings, working with our Sales team to rehearse and tailor presentations as needed.
+ Attending trade shows, happy hours and industry events to network with leads and existing clients to cultivate more business.
Additional Responsibilities:
+ Helping get more clients registered on our online Trade Portal.
+ Promoting Ravenhill Studio through a deep understanding of our products and industry.
+ Providing excellent problem solving for the highest level of customer service.
Qualifications:
+ Must be based in either Dallas or NYC
+ 3+ years of sales experience
+ Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
+ Proven customer management experience.
+ Comfortable operating as a 1099 independent contractor.
+ Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Superb organizational skills and systems thinking
+ Results driven, strategic thinker and team oriented
+ Experience in contemporary design a plus
