We are seeking a highly capable, smart, and experienced Assistant to Principal to provide comprehensive, high-level support to the Principal, the owner of Rug and Kilim. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual who can manage both professional and minimal personal tasks, ensuring seamless operation across all aspects of the Principal's responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Principal's primary point of contact and organizational support.
Assist with business operations related to our high-end rug atelier, including involvement in and coordination of rug production activities.
Manage a dynamic schedule, prioritize complex tasks, and handle correspondence with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Handle minimal personal tasks, including but not limited to: Occasional booking of flights and comprehensive travel accommodations.
General administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in the field is necessary. Proven track record of successfully supporting a high-level executive or principal in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated capability and intelligence to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
High level of discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential information.
Familiarity with or interest in the high-end design, art, or rug industry is a plus.
