We are a premier interior design firm specializing residential and spaces. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Assistant to support our Principal and Senior Interior Decorator in all facets of design execution and business operations.
Position Summary:
As the right hand to the Principal and Senior Interior Decorator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of both the creative and administrative sides of the firm. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position that requires a strong blend of organizational finesse, aesthetic awareness, and an understanding of the luxury design industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen communications, prioritize tasks, and handle correspondence.
• Organize and maintain digital and physical files, presentations, and project documentation.
• Assist with sourcing, ordering, and tracking of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
• Liaise with vendors, showrooms, and contractors; manage samples and returns.
• Maintain and update mood boards, spec sheets, and design schedules.
• Prepare client presentations and assist in curating design concepts.
• Oversee office supplies, studio organization, and day-to-day logistics.
• Ensure timely follow-ups on action items and deliverables across multiple projects.
Qualifications:
• preferably Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
• experience in a high-end design or luxury service environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and design software, preferably design manager AutoCAD
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities.
