Job description
The Bright Group Chicago is seeking a dedicated individual to provide administrative and sales assistance to our Chicago Sales Team. The successful candidate must have previous experience in administrative functions as well as an interest in interior design.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Answer and direct phone calls.
2. Maintain showroom appearance and support materials.
3. Develop an understanding of established product lines.
4. Assist in order processing, order follow up and customer service issues.
5. Provide back up to the sales staff as needed.
6. Send out samples and other support materials to clients.
7. Maintain spreadsheets and other organizational tools.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Benefit package including Health insurance, 401K Profit Sharing Plan, Flexible Spending Account. Dental, Vision, Life and Long-Term Disability insurance options are also available. Salary is commensurate with experience. Hours Monday - Friday 9-5:00.

Job Requirements
1. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
2. Proficiency in MS Office, working knowledge of office equipment (printers, fax, phone, etc.)
3. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
4. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
7. Understanding and appreciation of high-end furniture or the desire to learn quickly.
