Job Description

As our Account Executive, Trade Sales, you'll report directly to our co-founders, two women who are personally in the market every single day and will be your biggest advocates in the room. You'll be the face of Alkemis with the design, architecture, hospitality, and development communities, converting warm interest into closed accounts and cold outreach into long-term trade relationships. You'll own the trade channel nationally and work alongside the founders on strategy, activations, and launches as they happen.

What You'll Do:
Seek — Identify and pursue net-new trade accounts across Interior Design, Architecture, Hospitality, Development, Contracting, and beyond. Know who specifies materials, know how to get in front of them, and know how to open a door that was not open before.
Build — Own your pipeline in Zoho with discipline and intention. Track every deal, forecast with accuracy, and always know what it takes to move something forward.
Activate — Represent Alkemis at trade shows and industry events including High Point Market, NYCxDESIGN, NeoCon, AIA/ASID, Greenbuild, and Miami Art Week. Arrive with a plan and follow through before the week is out.
Retain — Build relationships that last beyond the first close. Stay present between orders and create the kind of experience that turns a first-time buyer into a loyal one.
Collaborate — Show up to every founder touchbase as a true partner. Bring market intelligence, share what's working, and help shape how we grow, not just the execution.

This is a fully remote role with up to 20% travel for events and activations.

Compensation: $70,000 base with OTE of $110,000+ (uncapped). Equity included. Job Requirements

You have B2B sales experience and a track record you can speak to in actual numbers, not just titles. You build pipeline from scratch and know how to prioritize a prospect list without someone telling you where to start. You live in your CRM and use it to run your week, not just update it before a check-in. You have sold something premium and relational and you understand that the close is an education, not a transaction. You use AI tools in your actual workflow and know how to scale outreach without losing the personal feel this brand requires. You are self-directed, communicate clearly, and do not let things fall through the cracks. You are adaptable and energized by fast-moving environments where the path is not always clear. You are a collaborator who makes the people around you better. And you understand the risk and reward of joining a company at this stage, and would not have it any other way.

Desired background:
5 to 8 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated quota attainment and pipeline ownership. A background in a relationship-driven industry such as luxury goods, design, wellness, hospitality, or art is a strong plus. CRM fluency in Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar. Experience building or actively using AI tools to automate outreach, research, or pipeline workflows. Ability to travel up to 20% for trade shows and activations.
