Barclay Butera, Mat Sanders and Jenni Pulos partnered with Wayfair on this year’s Trade Tastemaker Awards, analyzing over 5,000 submissions and awarding leaders in the following categories: Designer of the Year, Best Commercial Space, Best Entertainment Space and Best Use of Color. This year’s awards also recognized the public’s favorite, with a newly added People’s Choice category. The winners will be feted at a reception in Miami this week. Among the winners are Thread by Lindsay Bentis; Antonio Martins Interior Design; Veneer Designs; Chango & Co.; and Linc Thelen Design.

“We are so impressed with the remarkable talent we see in our Trade Services program, and are delighted to partner with our accomplished judges to highlight and honor a few outstanding interior designers,” said Jessica Dowling, head of trade services at Wayfair. “This year’s Trade Tastemaker winners have tackled challenging spaces to create truly remarkable interiors that demonstrate creativity and innovation. We are inspired by the surprising bursts of bold color, dramatic architectural contrasts and fresh motifs that come together in these award-winning interiors.”

“The diversity of design aesthetic was inspiring to see,” shared Butera. “The caliber of all the winners’ work is top-notch and brought an innovative perspective to the table. These emerging designers are taking a fresh approach to design and exemplify the future of the industry.”
