For its second year exhibiting at Dwell on Design Los Angeles, The Shade Store partnered with designers Mat Sanders and Brandon Quattrone of California’s Consort Design, to style its booth display. About 100 guests at the company’s June 24 evening party at the L.A. Convention Center were introduced to the innovative space—the Consort team designed two feature walls and also styled the brand’s booth—as well as the ways that Shade Store product can be used in the home.

“With 10 showrooms in California and five in the Greater Los Angeles, we are working with consumers to bring them a truly custom window product, and Dwell on Design gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase something different, to show versatility of the product we offer,” says Ian Gibbs, creative director of The Shade Store. “We love how Mat and Brandon have transformed our space, even beyond just the window treatments, to give it a cool, California vibe and demonstrate some of what you can create with The Shade Store.”

“Brandon and I start thinking about window treatments the minute we begin a project, whether it is a gut renovation or a quick instant refresh to a space,” says Sanders. “Working with The Shade Store is simple and the options are seemingly endless for our clients; you have the ability to completely transform a space!” adds Quattrone.
