Modernism Week’s Fall Preview runs October 21 to 23, and tickets are still available for some of the Premier Double Decker Architecture Bus Tours, walking tours of Palm Springs neighborhoods, architectural talks, nightly parties and a number of other events. Among the house tours are Frank Sinatra’s “Twin Palms” estate; “Pads, Pools & Patios: Home Interiors and Neighborhoods”; and “Christopher Kennedy’s Palm Springs Pad.” The historical walking tours include “Heart of the City”; “Rat Pack Playground—Modernist Homes of Vista Las Palmas”; “Golden Era Hollywood Homes in Old Las Palmas”; and others.
“Many of our best tours and events still have tickets available,” says Lisa Vossler Smith, executive director of Modernism Week. “During this three-day Fall Preview, you can get a taste of the hundreds of tours, talks, cocktail parties, and educational programs that we will feature in our spring festival.”
The Fall Preview is a precursor to Modernism Week’s 11-day festival, which begins February 16, 2017.
