Domino is popping up in New York: The home decor brand and publication is hosting a temporary retail store in time for the holidays. Unfolding over the first three weekends of December (Fridays through Sundays) at 35 Great Jones Street in downtown New York, the pop-up will embody Domino magazine’s winter issue via objects and workshops.

“Much of our joy in the holiday season comes from our warm memories of home,” said Nathan Coyle, CEO of Domino. “December is always a month full of hopes and dreams for loved ones and the New Year. Drawing from this universal outlook, Domino will curate a Holiday Dream concept to bring people together in a colorful, festive and inspired environment.”

The weekend kicking off December 2 will spotlight the West Coast aesthetic of General Store founder Serena Mitnik-Miller; the weekend of December 9 will focus on graphic design with Audrey Gelman of The Wing and Pamela Bell of Prinkshop; and the weekend of December 16 will showcase the urban-meets-rural style of Hawkins New York, as well as a workshop on party food and presentation by Camille Becerra, among other activities.

The Holiday Dream workshops include the following, courtesy Domino:

December 3 at 2 p.m.: Wreath making workshop with Kristen Caissie of Moon Canyon
Make a free-form wreath using materials such as sculptural grasses and dried wildflowers that are inspired by our winter florals story from the latest issue.

December 10 at 2 p.m.: Screen printing workshop with Pamela Bell of Prinkshop
Learn the art of screen printing and make a statement with a bright, bold design. Plain T-shirts and tote bags will be available, or bring an item on which you want to add an epic message.

December 17 at 2 p.m.: Gift wrap embellishment workshop with Rebecca Thuss of Thuss + Farrell
Craft striking yet simple-to-make paper decorations—including tassels, coquettes, pleated fans and other fun paper creations—inspired by our gift wrap story in the winter issue.

December 18 at 2 p.m.: Festive food decorating workshop with Chef Camille Becerra
Learn how to add beautiful decorative toppings to dishes and drinks that are perfect for holiday gatherings, like an organic flatbread and a festive punch. Ingredients and refreshment will be provided.

The workshops, which cost $100 per person, are limited to 20 people.
